That is the biggest rip off I have seen here ever !Screw those guys they will not get a dime of my money
(07-06-2010 01:23 PM)psycho Wrote: [ -> ]- They also found out there is some type of VIP membership with three levels of status - the highest level is if you pay JPY 750,000 (not a typo), you get a year of membership where you can play anytime for free and use the facilities for BBQ etc.

Also known as "buying the goddam place".

Seriously... ridiculous.
OMG.... with 750,000 yen I can pay my rent for the whole year including all the utilities fee AND paying my membership at school's kickboxing club AND buy a new gun.....

how come it's so expensive? It's foreigner who run it so they must know that they have to compete with Japanese counterparts; especially in the fun part and the economic part
It's probably aimed for the richest tier of foreigners here, who are working in the Finance industry (not to point fingers Tongue). They would be the only caste of foreigners able to afford such crazy amount I believe.

But still with that, it's ridiculously high, even Q would rather buy 10 Eotechs than renting a field for a whole year ^^;
Does seem they are pricing themselves in a way that isn't leaving them competitive when compared with any of the other fields we play at. Maybe they're focused on the paintball piece and feel people will pay (a somewhat large) premium? Or maybe they've just not done the research you would expect them to do on possible competitors for peoples time & money?
Isn't paintball big as a corporate HR staff training, cummunications, etc, activity. Maybe they are trying to attract companies with their VIP plan? With Cimax right around the corner they won't be able to compete in the airsoft division.

I also like the part on their homepage that says...
"3. In survival game if you get shot and nobody see it you can keep playing; in paintball you cannot do that because you are marked with the ink."
Can we use this rule Q? Tongue
I'm gonna force you guys to start playing with these BB's :-

It means my washing machine will be busier than now. It's good for him coz now is a hard time of an economy to get a new jobRolleyes

All joking aside, should we change a color for each game if we'll play in paintball rules?

Like ... 1st game: red, 2nd game: blue, 3rd game: green and so on.

IMHO it would be helpful to identify whether each spot on our outfit comes from current game or not and guess under this rule we can decrease zombie problems.
Don't worry Ron,
I think Q was just joking...at least I hope he was Smile

I am not sure how they do it in a paintball game though? Do they change colours?
Well the RA-T ain't practical for airsoft play. OTOH if it's tactics training, then it can be. But it's not cheap...
No need to change colors in paintball. You just wipe it off after each game (depending on the fabric involved, it may not completly come off by just wiping, but it's good enough for playing in the next game). Also, the "paint" is biodegradable and washes out using normal washing machine settings.

Ginga has a good point - the field may be targetting corporate level members for "teambuildng" exercises.

Ycare also has a good point - I think I'm also in too low of a caste to join their club.

Brandon also has a great point as well - unless they change their pricing, they won't get a dime from me either!
