He has an English store, I wonder if we can contact him in English?
Yeah this is crazy... I like Volk's gear, but it's so expensive here, ridiculous. Well, US prices are a bit better, but still I wonder if the company sells a lot with such prices.
@Q
I'm willing to contact him tonight. Do you have any request for a specific item?
@RON,
Actually sorry, nothing specific for now...but I was just curious. Maybe more for the future...if I see something I like, can I order through his International side, pay via PayPal, but deliver to a Japanese address?
I'm sure you guys here would like to get VTG gear cheaper too if you can.
Thanks!
wouldn't it be the same price once you paid for shipping and taxes?
So if I pick the last example, let's include JP taxes Y41,000 + 5% = Y43,050. Vest is sold for Y49,800. At this point both still require Takyuubin or Yuupack shipping charges.
Yeah... not meaning to be a troll, but for the same price, you get an MSA Paraclete PC, which is much higher quality than Japanese made Volk. But that's my opinion.
Nevertheless, I like Volk's design, I even have a couple of pouches from them, but if it were sold at a more reasonable price, I'd probably have much more.
Inquired to them(him?). Pls wait a reply :-)
As of today, they still haven't answered ... a response time is not so good.
Anyway I'll try to call them after tomorrow.
No rush RON, thx very much!!
Today I talked to him over the phone and got at the truth. The price difference between "jp" and "com" which Q found out was simply programming errors of the sources of "com." Becuse of those errors, the prices on "com" were being showed at 90% of proper price.
He much appreciated Q's good find and said that he had completed correcting the errors and succeeded in avoiding loss on sales at wrong price.
Now there are no differences of the prices between "jp" and "com" except Japanese shohi-zei (consumption tax) and gain/loss of foreign exchange. Pls check it out.

I have to say that was my fault somehow anti-virus software regarded his first reply of e-mail as a spam and I couldn't get it.

LOL
Definitely
NOT the expected feedback.
Thanks RON though, not your fault, but I know someone who's gonna be disappointed.
Yah, he should have bought a week ago when everything was essentially 10% off

:-(...you're right...I should have bought everything b4 raising this up. Grrrr....
On a different note, I hope to get some VTG discounts here (fingers crossed) :-

I'll go on Sunday since we've got a game on Sat. Hopefully they'll have JP MC flag badges for cheaper than a ridiculous Y1700.
