I was fixing another part on my AEG when I broke off the piece of metal found on each side of the engine that the wires connect to from the battery.
Heres a picture (sorry, it could be better):
If you know what I am trying to describe then please could you be so kind as to tell me what I can call it and where I can find a replacement.
Thank you.
Oooh, well aside of a new motor, which seems a bit of a waste, you gonna need some soldering skills to fix that...
Probably isn't too difficult, but the access doesn't seem easy, which will add some challenge. Good luck dude!
Edit: Actually, seeing this is the part where the cable attaches, soldering won't be strong enough to hold the removing/placing the pin kind of strength. You better find another alternative to make the contact from the cable to this side of the motor, maybe attaching or soldering the cable to another metallic part on this side. Any part should be good, just make sure it activates the motor properly before attaching it for good.
YCare, you went halfway with your recommendation but didn't go all the way

!? You could suggest soldering a short wire with a connector

...then he'll still have the ability to connect/disconnect.
yup I agree with ycare. better solder the wire directly to the part were the thing broke rather than changing the whole motor itself.ooops q beat me to that
Can this be used for something?
I had removed these from old motor before.
Let me know if you need it.

Yeah I thought it would be way more simpler than replacing the whole motor. The part that is broken seems to be detachable from the motor anyway.
What Kenzie just posted a picture of seems to be what I am talking about. Looks easy enough, right?
Well, plenty of solutions offered! Looks like you're saved Tobo

Yeah.
I'm sure its a easy thing to fix. I still haven't had time to dissemble the motor and have a proper look but I will do it soon.
This is the part that broke off :
