Anyone know a good cure for constant steaming up of goggles. I've tried using washing liqued but it doesnt reallt work very well and kinda smeers.
I've seen products in airsoft shops for anti-fog. Do these work well?

If it helps my goggles are zero-vision military.
Do they only steam up or do they also form visible droplets of moisture?

If it's the 1st case, then I would recommend something called Ops Drops (1500-2000yen)

If it's the 2nd case, Ops Drops alone won't suffice. If I'm not wrong these are the goggles that are fairly low profile with little to no ventillation? If you can figure a way to create air vents (upper and lower) in the goggles, that will greatly reduce steaming and moisture accumulation. Some other goggles use foam to keep dust out, we just rip out the foam so air passes through a lot easier.

G'luck
thanks. Well they got airvents but they are over the rubber foam so all the air goes into the foam areas top and bottom.

Its funny to name these goggles Zero-Vision becasue thats exactly what they offer. A product that really lives up to it's name.
Don't waste money on anti fog or anti misting spray you caqn make your own using house hold detergent used for washing up dishes.

Mix a 30% detergent to a 70% Boiling water mix and whisk with a fairy whisk until you have a good bubble over...then leave it to cool and until the bubbles have disapaited. Get a bottle spray from 100 Yen shop and hey presto anti fog/mist spray!

This receipe has been servering the British forces since WWII, its one of the reasons you ya grandad will tell you to smear and rub in some shaving cream on the mirror.....won't mist up Wink
cheers again fareast! Big Grin
Also alot of us remove the foam mesh that lines the top and bottom vents of the Googles as this also allows the air to curculate.

I can recommend any type of Oakley goggles and also British military Vechile/Rider goggles for being highly resistant to fogging up. Both will give you total protection from point blank hits from a BB.

Or if you find them to hot switch to something like the "Guarder" shooting glasses, I have personally tested these at point blank at 3 joules.
