My family's on the west coast so we're good - thx for asking. But I saw some YouTube videos and the disaster is quite bad.

My heart goes out to everyone effected. Long after the flooding passes and the news stops, there are going to be people struggling to rebuild their lives, not to mention those who have lost loved ones.

Damn, yeah, saw some footage recently, looked pretty bad...
There are often floods in France too, had entire villages under meters of water few years ago still struggling to get relocated somewhere or their house rebuilt. Insurances tend to take their sweet time when so much money is at stake.

One of my friends live on Queensland, and he told me that the flood is only 13 kilos away from his house...
Dang... I don't know that disaster like flood might hit a place where I thought it was safe from it.
I thought only places with bad sewage system could have flood (like Jakarta or New Orleans)

After looking at the video of the flooding and seeing that all over the world ate having a disaster even in Philippines there's a part there with a flood right now and the water is not lowering after 2 weeks seeing on yahoo the fish kill and birds falling in the sky it's getting worst and worst .....it feels like it just happens at movies but even if 2012 is not true thinking of what's happening today and getting worst every month seems like the world wont last this decade....
