Hey guys, I don't have an account with SystemA's forum and don't really wanna sign up just to read one article, but can anyone tell what's in this thread? I believe it's got some info on a copy of VLTOR's VIS milled for airsoft?

This fellow who posted his VLTOR Upper for sale is the guy who helped me get his modified. I think that upper may be taken, but they modify them in their machine shop. Very professional job and well done. In my case, it fits better than the original, actually...
Lionel got to see mine this past weekend.
They are in Hawaii and I can put you in touch if you are ever interested in pursuing that mod.
That being said, there are one or two other complete guns for sale on that forum that have the VLTOR modded upper.
As I was telling Lionel this weekend, the PTW owners forum is worth a join since unlike many other forums, it's all mid to high income adults and you can find some really cool shit for sale there...It's a good place to buy and sell high end items.

They have already released the sight tower but there is also a chinese copy alreadu on the market.

Also for those of you that want to complete the VLTOR look you might be very interested to know that the new VLTOR Enhanced Carbine Modstock that have suddenly appeared at ROSV, Gunner and EB Tactical are actually the real thing. Someone has managed to source these direct from the factory that makes them for VLTOR. If you want them you need to move fast as the C&D's are being prepared as we speak

Cheers for the info guys! Actually in the end I didn't pick up the Tan Eotech. I won the bid in eBay but the guy there freaked out that I was in JP and didn't want to ship it out of US (actually I had a US address he could have shipped to - but in the dilemma I was in, I let it slip).
KA's VIS was announced some time ago but seems nothing's come out of it yet. Didn't know Dynamic Tactical making VIS too....thought they only focused on the MUR.
The KA Tower Sight is available but I wonder if it's the same manufacturer as Unicorn's version...I hope not!?
Finally, as for eBayBanned...personally I'm staying away from them. If you read the articles in Arnies and in MulticamAddict, the guy's such a spammer and rude too. He may be cheap, but I don't need to give my money to someone with that kinda attitude. The guys in RW told me that he also a small time business ('bout 3-4 ppl?) and that he doesn't know anything about airsoft i.e. he's in it completely about the money rather than knowing about the business. Naturally RW could be dissing a competitor but at least RW has so far seem nice and honest.
Can understand your feelings about Ebanned.... got spammed by him myself......and anyhting from HK or China i source through RSOV.
As for the Unicorn VLTOR Front tower...the quality is excellent, infact some owners of real VLTOR Tower sights have commented that the finish of the Unicorn is better than the $275 real steel as they seem to have painted it rather than chemical coating.
I have the Unicorn and I must say I'm impressed ...so much infact that I put it on my beloved VLTOR CASV MUR.
As for Paul from Ebanned.....actualy I met him while I was in China and he's a nice enough guy in person....and he is a player of the sport. he knows alot about the game but only being 22 years old and at Uni doesn't make him the best buisnessman and thus has turned me off from purchasing from him although anything I have purchased from him has been hassel free without issues.

Excellent news...I know a few guys that have the original VLTOR sight tower and it is just as you say...a cheap painted finish. If these new copies are anodized, I'd be a buyer...
actually no they are painted but as these aren't functioning Gas blocks the paint doesn't bubble or warp after use. So they stay in tiptop condition..... Its a shame as I could have brought it with me for you to take a look at this afternoon.....oh also no worries about them fitting Systema barrel sizes as they attach the same way as the real thing...and not those crappy pins.
Also probably be there a little earlier than 4pm.

That's interesting. I picked up the VLTOR tower too from GunnerAirsoft whilst I was in HK and it's Unicorn. I've not seen the real steel VLTOR tower except for photos but I thought the Unicorn was pretty poorly manufactured.
Which was where I was hoping KA's from a different manufacturer....
