Well one of the guns on my wish list has suddenly made it into the collection....P226 Stainless is next Big Grin (Easier to smuggle into the house undetected!)

But here she is, Maruzen P99 GBB Limited Edition Movie Prop in Desert Tan. It also has the new Prime P99 CNC machined metal slide. This went on without any modifications what so ever and only required me to cycle the slide about 100 odd times to get the action smooth.

Also has the Nine Ball 6.03 tightbore inner barrel, just waiting on the FireFly valves, reinforced recoil spring and Tanio Koba Kick Booster for it Big Grin

Cool

Luckily I have one at home now...

Actually kinda jealous of the the grass under the gun!

Have been shooting up targets and trying to figure out how much gas to use in it. Also bought the 40 round clip the other evening.
Managed to figure out how to detach the slide rail whilst watching 007. Then had quite a time figuring out how to get the damn thing back on. Brute force seemed to prevail in the end.

Roll on 14th then I actually get to shoot people with it. :x
Getting that slide back on is a bugger......brute force is never the way to go and you have to pull down the trigger/safety or something to get it back on....it's a pain in the arse!

As for the amount of gas to put in it...Just fill it up till it starts venting out of the top!
Well there wasn't too much brute force involved. Was working from the Japanese only instructions, and seemed to very easily remove the slide. Then looking at the pictures tried to reverse the process, which didn't seem so easy. Decided to lubricate self with Kirin's Vitamin B. Something about pushing the firing release down, pulling the sfety nubbin down instead of punching it side ways, then on the 7th attempt at easing the slide back it works! Bingo, but still don' know why it worked that time and not the others.

Well it's the weekend tomorrow (maybe today) so can go to the deserted wastland underthe bridge near where the homeless live to do some range and sight testing. 8)
