Hey guys,

I will be receiving a shipment from Taiwan probably early this week. Along with some other samples of thier new products.

I just want to point out a cautionary tale regarding the Black Python's and Shark Accelerators though.

I have recently set about down grading a M14 that I imported about 2 months ago as it was firing at around 1.1 joule. Having placed a weaker spring in the rifle I decided now would be a good time to switch over the barrel to a Black Python 6.03 tightbore and the shark accelerator.

Having completed the upgrades, I ran it through my Chronoraph and was horrified to discover that it was now shooting at over 1.2 Joules. Needless to say I have now cut 3 coils off the spring to bring it down to regulations and legality!

So guys, if you are planning to upgrade your weapons, make sure you get them chronographed before playing! As these can up the power of your weapon, especaily long arms.
What spring? I had the same thing with a PDI 6.01mm barrel. This is with no hop. Putting on hop, I dropped like about .05J for the soft Firefly Kurage, but up to 0.15 for the hard Kurage.
It was a standard Systema .98 Joule spring. This kind of power surge is common though in Long barrel rifles.
