I have a problem with the rear sights on my P226. regardless of if I use the origional, or after market rear sights - the screws will shake loose and fall out from the sight after a few shots.
I'm using an after market metal slide.
Any ideas what I can do to keep them attached?
locktite! glue in the screws.
No the P226 slides are like the real steel sights, they slot in and are not fixed. Super Glue is not really an option as the weapon gets really knocked about while skirmishing and lost pretty easily. I used JB weld, its a two part appoxy and once on, you will have to grind it off..... its what the US navy use to glue F18 super hornets together with and who i got it from.
Tokyo hands should have other products that are similar but you want one that is used only for metal and has a tolerance rating, It's also great for re threading striped out threads...fill the gap wait will the appoxy hardens slighly screw in the screw and leave to set.... then unscrew and hey presto you have a new thread!
If you can't find any Dan I will bring some to the next game or we can meet up in Shibuya and i can give you it one day durring the week
Excellent, I'll have a look in Tokyu hands, if I have no luck like you say lets meet up

Black n Nasty might to the trick
Tobo your taste in men isn't really going to help in this case!
