Just picked up my Gen2 gear today from the post office, as both pants/shirt didn't come with pads, I've reused CP's Gen1 elbow pads, and UR-Tact's knee pads. As noted by Anarchy, new material's ripstop so it's lighter. The shirt's not the body hugging kinda compression shirt like Gen1 but it's nice looser.
As for the pants, I find the zipper fly a little too short (like the hipster kinda pants if U know what I mean :cool
, and even though it's 32R I actually find it a little loose (and I know general 32" would suit me perfectly).
