Hey Hazard the gun will take both Propane and regular HFC134a gas sold here in Japan. Yes it is the System 7 blow back system version.

loved the gun mate... i tried it with hfc134a and even with the heavy metal slide it was still able to empty a full mag at yesterdays temp (indoor no heater)
