I am considering buying a neoprene mask to protect the face against bbs.

Are they any good? Aren't they too hot and uncomfortable in summer?

Do they protect well against bb, or their effect is slight better than a piece of clothing?

They're better than a thin balaclava, but more uncomfortable. They also make your goggles fog up lots, so I usually cut the nose area off them.
