Hello,
A friend of mine is asking me whether his 15 years old son can participate to the games we play.
This may have been answered before, but do we have a minimum age to play?
thanks for letting me know.
Not speaking as a rep for TK, I think the legal ramifications of having a minor in the club would have to considered. Who would be responsible for them if they are hurt while taking part.
Well i don't think he is talking about a 15 year old joining the club. He is asking what the minimum age for airsoft is in Japan.
I have seen fathers bring along their sons before but I wouldn't know how old they actually were but they looked under 15 in my opinion.
Tifast, the best thing to do as you or your friend call up the field and ask them.
Public Games:
Fields in Tokyo and kanagawa ken the age limit is 18 years old, in Saitama its 13 years old. In some other areas there is no age limit. Most fields i have played at where under 18's can play require either a parent or guardian over the age of 21 to be present in the field and to have signed a disclaimer before being allowed to play.
Private Games:
Can't speak on behalf of TKoverkill as I'm not one of the leaders but other fields basically state that you need to be 18 years old to purchase the "Survivor Game" Class Tokyo Marui guns without a parent or gaurdian present and therefore people under the age of 18 are unable to play.
I think pain factor and maturity are a huge factor in the game... I've been cliped on finger nails, lips, ears and the nose and being 33 years old and had plenty of knocks still makes me wince so a 15 year old pain thresh holds are going to be alot lower. IMOHO
Like i said this is only my opinion and speaking from experience from other private and public games sites I've played at.
Thanks guys for the feedback. I'll try to give him an answer along the different comments.
