I thought I'd share my first attempt at a "propper" Mod.
As some of you may have seen, I was the one who bought FarEast's King Arms & Real Steel Custom AK74/47 Kit. It came with the following:
1x ACM AK47 (complete outer body, no internals, gearbox or hop)
1x Madbull 6.03 Black Python Tight bore barrel.
1x Madbull Shark Accelerator nub
1x Systema Magnum motor
1x King Arms X47 5-Rails Mounting System Deluxe Version (CNC Aluminum)
1x King Arms CNC machined Aluminum AK74 Metal Body with Grip (Black)
1x King Arms AK SAW style pistol grip
1x King Arms AK folding stock Gaili type
1x King Arms AK folding stock adapter for M4
1x Real steel M4 polymer sliding stock
1x Real Steel AK47/74 wood furniture
next, I was contemplating dismantling a TM SIG552 SEALS that I have,
to use the mech box (as it uses the same version3 box) but the fact that I also needed some other parts for the project such as bolt assembly etc, I decided to try and find a doner TM AK47...
I found a TM Beta Spetsnaz AK at Frontier, I had lucked out as when I got home and disassembled it I found that it was a Echigoya customised one with what looks like custom gears, spring, pom & cylinder!!.
The Assembly:
It was actually not that difficult, BUT very very interesting and FUN!! it took me back to my days of making Tamiya models!!
I guess that with most of these custom metal parts and real steel parts they are not going to match perfectly, so a little shimming here bending there and a rubber hammer, She was completed.

I plan to make this build in a couple of stages, for the next stage I will modify:
Mech box and power (as I don't have a Chrono I don't know the current power)
Install the Systema motor, (Currently on the Echigoya motor)
Modify the battery location (currently in stock)
Change to a folding stock
All in all she is SOLID, and really feels good to hold, I will be testing her out on Monday at SEALS.
