hi everyone, I’m relaying info about an event organized on Sunday May 24th at the Fruit Village (!) in Chiba by my krav-maga instructor, ex Israeli special forces and former krav-m instructor in the Israeli Army.

This event was originally thought to take place at the US facility in Tama Hills on the paintball field and only open to a limited number of people (that is, people from the k-m school). However, due to a recent change in regulations, Israeli (and French, incidentallyHuh) citizens are no longer allowed into the facility. Therefore a new place was found (the fruit village), and the seminar now accepts outsiders too. Hence the short notice.

Here is the program (D,E,F and H might be of particular interest):
A-SHOOTING BB GUN (10 MIN)
B- SHOOTING BB GUN AFTER PHYSICAL EFFORT (10 MINUTES)
C-SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS OF GUN, RULES OF SURVIVAL GAME (5 MINUTES)
D- HOW TO ENGAGE AS TEAM AND COMMINUCATE BEFORE STRIKE (10 MINUTES)
E-SELF HOSTAGE SITUATION (30 MINUTES)
F- 3RD PERSON HOSTAGE SITUATION (30 MINUTES)
G- 3 DISTANCES FOR GUN THREAT (FAR, MID, CLOSE)(20 MINUTES)
H-IN CLOSE AND MID RANGE DEFENSE FROM 4 DIRECTIONS AGAINST GUN THREATS (FRONT, LEFT, RIGHT, BACK)
(1 HOUR)
I-SURVIVAL GAME IN TWO TEAMS (1 HOUR)

Place : Fruit Village in Chiba http://www.camp-fruits.com/
Price : 6000yen (if you bring your gun, goggles and ammo), 8000yen if not.
Time : from 9am to 4pm
Deadline for registration and payment : May 22nd
See full details at http://combat-sports-center.com/english/index.html
Then click on NEWS, then on CHECK DETAILS at the bottom of the page for the seminar at the Fruit village.

I have no personal interest in the organization of this seminar Smile so if you are interested or have questions please contact Avi, the instructor, at contact@combat-sports-center.com or 090-7194 1718
One last thing, that location (the Fruit village) seems to be pretty far from the nearest station, so going by car is certainly the easiest way.

He-he sounds nice but 6k yen? Are they serving French fillet or fois gras as well Wink
I'm actually super interested in that, but it's like the last day of the month and really tight... not mentioning I'll probably be working that day Sad

Do you know if they do that often ? I'd be so interested...
not foie gras but American BBQ Wink yeah 6k is more expensive than regular fields, but the instructor has got to make some money, he's making a living out of it after all. If many people from the TKover group show interest in this type of seminar, I could ask him to organize smthg special for us, like Recondo school for airsofters.

Ycare, this seminar is not on the 31st but on the 24th, so not the last day of the month Shy
Sorry, meant "last day before payday" Tongue

I think it's a great idea if we could organize something just for TKO, I know I'd be in for sure and so would a friend.
I'm actually even considering trying Krav Maga all by itself later on. Sport club is a bit far, but sounds interesting.
Unfortunately got something for the 24th already but sounds like quite an event! Perhaps we can work something out for a future TKO event.
Seems Krav Maga was on the way to Airsoft he heh! I know Avi though i have'nt meet him personally, I would say this is a worth learning events especially how to defense a Gun attack...I knew about it !! so i would say highly recommended to learn. I like to review but I'm busy this weekends for a Scout Camp.
