yup from what I have read you need a m249 or m14 gear box....Now this would be a real support only weapon lol

Tokyo Hands will do it for you, not sure what they would charge though. Also I think you will find its a 1919. The 1911 is a hand gun

I actually have all the tools to make this but what you really need is a CNC band saw/jigsaw to do it and use sheet aluminium, and then anodise the parts gun metal

But what can we use to hold it together??

Good old nuts & bolts, Perhaps some special metal adhesive.....

looking good to me.. but I saw the one at ECHIGOYA on sale but not sure if its 1911 and its using Mac10 gearbox(small gearbox with huge outfit a bit weird...)
