Did a search of TKO but didn't find anything...
I need a new pair of BIG gloves. All the stuff at shops is too small.
Any ideas where I can get a pair ASAP (in time for Saturday?)
Thanks.
I got mine at Don Quixote, dunno if they're too lame for you or if they'll fit, but it's worth a shot. If you don't care about being leet like all the kids with the expensive gloves, shouldn't be TOO hard, I'd imagine.
Any old work gloves with padding on the nails will work.
Or go for Mechanics gloves, Used a lot by US SF teams more so than the Oakley Pilot gloves that are actually for MTB or BMX. If you are out at Gotenba Premium outlet mall you can them from there for about 6,000 Yen. Phantom will charge you about 9,000
Mechanix gloves can be bought from Autobacs and other Auto shops.
get ahold of me on base they are 20 bucks for mechanix....
Man, I need to check out what else you can get on your base. Those are good prices for Mechanix.
Personally I went with the Oakley SI's with the CF protection on knuckles over Mechanix, Hatch, etc. TKO oldies would probably remember a few years back when I played in Area86 (now closed

), someone shot full auto in my firing hand, It hurt -so- much I couldn't play for a few games. Even released gas from my GBB magazine to "cool" my hand down.
So do get one with good knuckle protection, I think BHI makes one too with hard protection over the knuckles too.
I have been using full finger mountain biking gloves that I bought about 15 years ago and they are falling apart...funny thing is I had never been hit in the hand until right after I decided I don't need gloves because I never get hit in the hand... Next game (and every game since) I get hit in the hands

Could it be that you simply didn't feel it before, and now that you don't have any, you actually feel it ?
Just a rational thinking

This shop, although IMO the shipping and handling charge is a bit overpriced, you can get the stuff you ordered the next day if you order from them as late as 4 PM online or 6 PM by phone.
They have stocks of Oakley Factory Pilot Gloves in L or XL. I use L.
Glove sizing guide here:

That's applicable for Oakley gloves, but somehow not for Japanese sizes.
Damascus brand gloves are also said to be used by soldiers.
Talking about that, why does Oakley make such kind of gloves, especially used for military purposes ? I know they do sunglasses and extreme sports and all, but military/airsoft ?! And why only gloves if so ?
I saw the Camelbak Magnum Force in HK (Place called SupremeCo). Pity they didn't have my size & no tan, but they looked really good and liked the hardened shell protectors. I would have bought them otherwise. Another that I'd recommend, and the finger knuckle protectors seem better than the Oakley SI's.
