Ok well I'll start of with saying thanks to Lionel for some quality King Arms mags.

However... I know on sunday when i inserted the mags into my Army L85 I said they were fitting ok but (stupid me) i was probably too excited about playing and having alot of low cap mags to use that I overlooked a major problem.

During the first couple games when my L85 still worked I was having a rough time trying to figure out why my new mags were dropping out of the magwell on my L85. It turns out that the King Arms mags dont fit at all due to an extended bit of plastic.

Dont worry Lionel I am not going to ask for my money back. It was my fault anyway. But I have heard about people filing down the plastic to make it fit on other guns. Has anyone had to do this before?
I would appreciate some guidence.

haha that'll teach us to actually test it instead of just sticking it in. appreciate the good consumer ettiquete but to reciprocate i'd be willing to help you shave (dremel) the king arms magazines to fit like the army one.

just lemme know to bring it the next time and we could even do it at the field. just gotta check if that part that needs shaving is one solid block of plastic and doesn't serve another purpose or is hollow which wouldn't look very nice.

although... you sure that bit's stopping it from going in all the way? got a pic of the magwell of the L85?

k, i see how the mags would be stopped by the plasticky looking thing.

i have some KA mags in a different colour, will check them out to see if they're viable for some filing action
