Hello guys !

Just a quick question: has anyone of you already dealt with Ares AEGs ?
I've found an old post where FarEast mentioned Ares and Star being linked (ARES is the OEM for STAR), but nothing much about quality itself.

You see I'm REALLY interested into the Tavor 21, and consider buying one (more than the Alien's Pulse Rifle ), although they are outrageously expensive... so for this price, I want to make sure I have a hell of a kickass gun.

I held this in the BH show and was surprised at the weight. I was expecting a P90 type weight but it was actually quite heavy. The mag change OTOH seems easier than a L85 at least. The mag release lever in the front seems to make more sense.

looks like that release could get caught easily.

Well, I'll let you know how it is ! I'll buy it as soon as I could sell one of my gun just to make room in my armory ^_^

Just a little FYI, I might wait for the TSI model to be released, it would be the first AEG to be GBB convertible... and TSI might even push the quality up a notch while competing with ARES.
