Agreed, AI isn't the best in OPF2, I'll give you that.
950$ for a computer playing game without anti-aliasing... yeah, I grasp that. Anti aliasing makes a HUGE difference graphic wise... and Xbox uses anti aliasing.

1920x1200 with 16x aniso and 0x AA > 1280x720 with 2x AA ! Anti Aliasing only matters when you have a low resolution like 1280x720 blown up on a wall sized projector, with 1920x1200 on a 32 inch AA on or off doesnt make much difference at all.
I really, really want to like this game, but every time I turn around its something else. I blew up an objective with mortar fire and it said I still needed to blow it up! Of course it was GONE so I had to restart! ARG
There is massive backlash on the official forums right now, people are pissed. The mods there are swinging the ban hammer on anyone with anything negetive to say about the game, not a good sign.
There is rummored to be an AI patch on the way. It's just sad when a game made my the same company 10 years ago has better AI teammates!
The game is made by a different compny.
I think that the original developers did ARMA after the did the original OF and then a different developer did OF2.
The same company might be selling it but it was actually created by different groups...
Really? I'll have to look into that, that SUCKS! It's no wonder it's such a disappointment for all the fans of the first Op:Flashpoint. I never did get into ARMA for some reason so I'll have to go back and give it a full play through.
Anyone else play this game on the PC? if so, lets do some coop and see if I enjoy that better.
Finally got this yesterday for PS3.
Played for about 2 hours last night. Made it through 1 mission, had to turn of the PS3 once because of a weird glitch that put me and my vehicle below the surface of the ground and we couldn't move, but could still get shot
Steep learning curve, and definitely not the game if you want to play something like COD. Look forward to getting better at it and hoping a patch will be out soon.
Worst thing is that I ordered it on the 9th and it didn't show until the 20th. On the 16th I bought Uncharted 2 and today I got Borderlands, so I almost feel like the 2 week window I had put aside for this game while I waited for the other 2 has passed and my attention is pointed elsewhere.
Anyone else playing it on PS3 so we can co-op?
