Alright guys(or gal) I decided to learn some basic design in CS3 my sig below is my very first attempt at ever doing anything like this. So bottom line I am looking for some pointers and opinions...If anyone else is any good with designing and or Adobe products please let me know so I can pick your brain!!

I think it's good. It's a cool font choice, and you have the ray effect going on in there. The noise in the background is a little busy and takes away from it a bit. The skull might be a bit big, and overall it could be cropped to about half the size. I now know to avoid all your posts when I am browsing with my cell phone as you and your signatures are going to eat away at my packets
was this Illustrator, Photoshop, or Flash?

Mate its huge! if you signature is bigge than your posts then its toooooo big. Like this thread, 90% of it is taken up by your signature.

I have a degree in journalism with a focus in publication and graphic design, so I guess I'm qualified to comment on it.
I loathe sig graphics in general, but this one's not too bad. The already-voiced concerns about space and bandwidth hogging are justified, but only if you're viewing from a mobile or something. I think it looks good, but you might try to integrate the words on the image a bit better; try to make them a more seamless part of the banner as a whole.
