Hi all,
What is the process for upgrading a pistol (a TM MEU 1911 in my case) for use with propane? I came across this while looking for a guide and it suggests that an upgrade might not be needed, but I am not sure. Can anyone point me to a good guide or weigh in on if an upgrade is needed?

I've been using my stock TM Detonics for over a year with green gas and havent had any issues. From what I understand the only real issue you may have is the slide starting to crack after a while. Just use it until you have issues.

Thanks for the warnings about potential hazards.
I guess the real reason is to try and combat the colder weather. Are there other ways of doing this with 134a when playing outdoors?
There was a guy out recently using propane in his pistol and he was getting about 91 m/s and had an amazing range. I imagine it wasn't only becaue of the propane, but it sure seemed to help.

Any thoughts on how to improve winter performance would be appreciated.
