I just checked the menu and there is 1 option for vegetarians...spinach dip! Gonna have a hard time making a meal of it

Really? A tuesday night? I dont think I can make it from Fussa to Roppongi for dinner and then get back in a reasonable amount of time. I believe it's about an hour train ride just to get there.
Dstole - you missed the Aussie Fries, Bloomin' Onion, Salads, and pastas from which the meat could be removed. Having said that, it is a step back to the old days of vegetarian options in restaurants I'm afraid. It doesn't seem dedicated veggie meals have reached "Australia" or at least the American version of Down Under. :-)
Thanks for that chuckles...the only problem is that I have been strict vegetarian for 20 years so if food is fried in the same oil (or lard) or has fish, beef, chicken stock, or is premade with meat and then pulled of just before serving then I am in pretty rough shape. If they make from scratch I might be OK...will have to ask and see what they can do for me. Looking forward to catching up with folks.
If there's nothing for you to eat D, I can take your money with me. Save you the trip and the late night getting back home to the fam.

Actually, I have a friend who eats that and only that each time she goes.
Just pretend you're a girl with an itty-bitty elfin belly to fill and you'll survive I think. If you're just vegetarian and not vegan, there's also the bloomin onion you could throw down for a double appetizer surprise!
