No Worries Naerhu,
Not being critical at all. There are going to be alot of games this year at TKO (if I have my way) and my guess is that we all have a preferred style of game. Some people enjoy speedball style games with quick movement and easily achievable goals based on constant gun fight. Other enjoy the tactical military aspect of the game. I think our job as organizers here at TKO is to provide a range of games that will appeal to the different player types. Sometimes we might have an "all the ammo you can use, constant re-spawn, get your kill count up games," and other times it will be "real count, no hi-cap, dig in, milsim objectives games." This time around we are going for a fun day that ends in some fun stories, prizes, bragging rights, and the start to an active year of airsoft.

Glad you will be joining us.
I'm down to play if you still have room for a newbie shooter. I would really like to try out my gun in CQB. Also would give me an excuse to go shopping for a back up SMG.
Of course you are welcome to join us Drifter.
Welcome to the group.

Will add you to the list.
Quick questions, should I buy my BB's there or somewhere else? What's the going price for BB's at the field? And do the BB's have to be .2 exactly? Again, mostly new at this so any advice is appreciated.
I would like to ask that everyone use .2 BB as these are "safer" at close distance. Indoors a .2 BB will reach it's target faster within 10 meters or so, and doesn't carry as much energy as the heavier BB. I don't want anyone taking a .25 BB to the the teeth...actually, I don't want anyone to take any BB to the teeth Smile

I am trying to track down some cheap BB right now. Let me get back to you about that.
I have a buddy who wants to join delta, his name is Hunter. He's confirmed.
How do I know if my gun is under 93 m/s, and what do I do if I show up and it isnt?
If I recall you had an Mp5SD6 (the one with the built in silencer)? If it is stock then I am pretty sure you will be safe as most older Tokyo Marui guns shoot under 90 m/s. Newer TM guns are coming around 92.

If you are over we will see if we can adjust the hop, or if worse come to worse we could rent something...but I am pretty sure you will be OK. It is a general guideline...I just don't want people bringing out their "just legal" guns and someone taking it in the teeth at 3 feet away Sad

Ha! Yes, the MP5D6, with the built in silencer with no silencing function.

Thanks for the email. Since I dont know the ins and outs of hopping (or much else even remotely mechanically related), let me know what to do, and I'll just show up and go with the flow.

But, it was down to 70 something m/s, so I asked Echigoya to recondition it last year. Hense it may be over and there may (or may not) be a problem. Like I said, I'll go with the flow.

Idea for a five on five game. Each player gets 6 rounds. It will force each player to make sure each round counts.

If a team with 5 players goes up against a team of 4 players, can the 4 player team "hire a mercenary" player from another team to even it out to 5 v 5?

I assume its okay to bring a bottle wine to have and share with lunch?

People are going to lose teeth if they are smiling at people shooting at them even if they are using springers. The real difference in FPS from 270-310 is the severity of the bruising youll end up with.

I'll be bringing my Skorpion, but as big as I am on milsim I only have two lowcaps and two hicaps.

Also, dstole is your guy close to the Fussa area?
Hey folks,
Sorry for the late reply, I was at a public game in Kawagoe today. BIG numbers. 65+ people per side. People everywhere with no place to hide Sad

@ Naerhu: You will be fine. They would have had to work some serious voodoo to get your MP5 up over 90. Bring it out as is and we will figure it out. maybe your silencer doesn't work because half of it has been replaced with black duct tape Smile
Thanks for the game ideas. I am actually looking at numbers and thinking that maybe a 3 team system might be better as it would mean only one sit out per three games. The field I played at today broke in to three teams and it worked well. I am hoping that there aren't any teams with less numbers...worst case scenario I will be a Private Military Contractor.

@ Wraith: You are probably right. At that distance I don't see a huge difference. I thought Fussa was closer to Kanagawa, as my buddy is in Kawasaki. I am actually closer. If you can make it to Tokorozawa I can take you out. From Fussa it looks like you would have to go to Haijima, then Hagiyama, then up towards Kawagoe. If that is a possibility let me know and we can figure out times.
Still room for 7 people.
We need to lock down numbers by the 9th.
I'm gonna have my belt test the next day, so please take my name off from tentative list. It's gonna be a tiring 4 hours test from what I heard and I want to conserve energy before taking it

cheersBig Grin
Sorry to hear you can't make it Adi,
good luck with your test.
