@ SamuraiEdge: What size is your buddy? Is he typical Japanese size? Maybe a bigger foreigner? I ask because I have a BDU that he can borrow, but I am 6'2 and pretty wide, so not sure if it will fit. Let me know...

Regarding weapons. As I mentioned earlier, I would like to keep the weapon power at less than 90 m/s, but I know that most new Tokyo Marui guns are coming in around 92. We will allow those, but I don't really want people to bring their "just legal," 96+ m/s guns if they have other options. If all you have is a hand gun and a pimped out m4 shooting 95 m/s I would really prefer you use the handgun. Many of these games are going to be VERY up close and personal. I really want to stress safety and fun at this event.

real count ammo restrictions seem a bit excessive considering the flight characteristics of airsoft BB's.

I dont have anywhere near enough magazines anymore to make playing that sort of game viable, so I guess I'll be bringing my MP9 since I have four mags. Either that or I'll work on getting my GBB AK working, but thats going to be shooting at 300 FPS on the dot. That actually might be a better idea since I do have 8 magazines for it...

EDIT: Can anyone let me know whether the warehouse were going to be playing in is climate controlled? If I'm going to be using gas guns I'm going to need to know this information ASAP so I can source some red gas for cold weather.

I don't think it is climate controlled, although they may have a few heaters kicking around. It will probably be as cold inside as it is outside

The count restriction is to prevent people coming in with 3 or 4 hi-cap mags and just spraying for 15 minutes rather than playing with some tactics, taking a good shot when it presents itself, etc. You are free to use high cap mags but there will be a maximum load out. There will be ammo dumps so you can reload mid game.

Ammo count sounds good to me, at least gives me a reason to practice my speed reloads while watching those Magpul training videos

All my mags are a over 30 rounds (I'm using an M4), so how accurate do we have to load? Is it exact or is a few BB's either way okay? I was testing it out with my speed loader and it seems to give me about 30-32 BB's for every 7-8 pushes of the loader feed lever. Additionally my M4 never feeds a full clip and 3 or 4 BB's always drop out when I'm done.

Overall I like the rules so far though, really looking forward to this!

I'm not going to be super uptight about ammo count because I will be too busy with game co-ordination, point keeping, rules explanations, etc. I have found that 1 speed reloader is usually about 4 BBs. I would recommend 2 extra squeezes just to make sure. Again, I think it is something that I will let the players police themselves. I just want to put it out there so that we have similar ammo loads.
