yeah i hit 54 m/s on normal gas
87 on propane on my handguns
All im using are handguns and shotgun and grenades, so no aeg for me.

wraith bring 4 cans of propane with us, i need some anyways, and think of it as even for the BBs lol
im gunna try to train it there, i was considering driving, but if that was the case i would want to carpool. Is there anyone in the yamato/ayase area that would be interested in that?
I had to LOL at the ricochet being a hit. indoors thats pretty funny

I live in Fujisawa, so if you're driving out I could meet you at Yamato station, or whatever is closer. Be happy to pitch in for a little gas money if I don't have to lug my gear on the train Big Grin
The places I have played indoors have always played ricochet rules so it is simply what I am used to. I thought ricochets were standard indoors as it is sometimes hard to tell what was a direct hit and what was a ricochet. I feel it helps remove the possibility of hit conflicts...

"Player A to Organizer: I am pretty sure I hit the guy and he didn't call it!
Organizer to Player B: it's been brought to my attention that you might not be calling hits?
Player B: it totally bounced off the wall behind me so I didn't call it!"

You get the idea.
So much easier to say that if you feel a BB hit you call out.
BLAM and Kawagoe both play this rule, which is why I stay out of the houses at Desert Storm Smile

That being said, I am a flexable organizer and if the majority of people feel that calling ricochets is going to make the day less enjoyable then I am willing to reconsider...but I better not have that conversation above Wink
orly, i didnt know kawagoe calls ricochets

Im just saying cause mythbusters probed ricochets unless at a certain angle arent lethal Smile

ill play however, i cuss when i get hit, so everyone knows when i do lol.

Im going to be doing filming also while we play. i got a canon 7d the other day
At the CQB facility in Manasses Virginia ricochets were never hits. Same for all the CQB places I played at in Hawaii, for the simple fact that you can host the back wall of a room and get everyone out. In real life yes bullets do ricochete AT TIMES, you sure as hell wont be clearing a house by blasting the back wall of the room.

I've never played ricochets being hits in my airsoft career but if that's how it's done here I'll go with it.

EDIT: Wagon, I got my 1080p helmet cam in. I'll be taking video either from the the cam strapped to my AK or my goggles.

Sagamino is the closest .The only thing, which is kinda why we wanted to have someone go with us, is that im kinda new driving around japan, we know how get around the area easy enough, but getting to the field might be an adventure. We're willing to do it for sure, but if not maybe we could meet at yamato station and all take the train together.
if anyone want to meet at fussa, i can drive you with me and wraith

I wont be going to work btw wraith, so we can leave whenver you decide. i got someone to fill in my shift
I prefer considering ricochets hits for the reason dstole suggested. With the ammo counts being what they are, feel free to hose the wall behind me if you think that will work. I will happily pop out while you're reloading and double tap you in the chest. It does change the way you play though. Some people will choose to shoot for the ricochet all the time (not my style, personally I like a good clean hit), and therefor other players will need to be conscious of the surfaces around them.

Sounds like we should get some good footage of the event though. The 7d is a sweet rig. I was checking those out on the net today. Not sure I'd bring it to an airsoft game though. However, this brings up an important question: if a round ricochets and hits Wagon's camera, will he swear just as much?
Wagon: Nice to hear you are able to stick around.

I will have my camera as well so we should be able to get lots of good footage. We can edit it into the TKO New Years DVD Special Smile
What do you guys do to protect the lens? As you recall my brand new camera got hit a few times at the Kawagoe game in October...ROOBOY!

The ricochet is more based on game management rather than emulating real life.

all my equipment is insured. not a big deal.
only problem is my shoulder mount wont be her ein time, so im stuck with the steadycam
im bringing my new sony hd webbie on saturday too. Gotta figure out how im gunna take footage but i got alot of protective shit at work so ill figure it out, if you guys want me to bring a little extra bubble wrap from work i will.
once i get a mattebox, i can just use some good plexi in a filter holder, but for now, eh...whatever ill chance it. always looking for a reason for a new lens anyways
So who has the Final Cut Pro HD editing set up to put this all together when we are done Smile
