Guys/Gals,
Anyone knows where I can buy just only the stock of the new TM CQB-R? I don't want the whole gun but I'd just like to have my old TM Sopmod Crane stock changed to the new Vltor one used in the new CQB-R version.
Thx, Q
Haha, you mean the one I have on my M4 currently ?

Check the link below. It's a replica, but honestly it's so damn close to the original you won't make a difference, and good quality too. I personally had to mod it though to put the twin batteries in there, but nothing too difficult.

You're welcome

I'm sorta being lazy. Hoping for the original TM one so that I can "plug 'n play" since I want to use the original TM batteries too.

Haha ! You are lazy indeed
No idea where to find the TM one, but again, this Element one was pretty easy to mod and good quality, given you have the appropriate tools, unlike me

.
I think you can order it by part number. ThunderMidget has one, so maybe he can get the part number for you and you can get it from any shop that can get marui replacement parts (like echigoya).
It's ok, I'll close this thread. In the end Anarchy & I made a trip to Air-borne and I'm having them front wire my Sopmod and slip some slim Lipos in the RIS instead. I'm now hunting for some nice decent stocks for my Sopmod now.
If you like the wider cheekweld on the crane stock, I've had a good time with my Magpul ACS. Got it from Echigoya
http://www.echigoya.co.jp/html/products/...ct_id=7975 . It says out of stock on the site, but you might find one in store. You can remove the battery tubes on the side easily if you want to slim down the profile, and it still keeps a very comfortable cheekweld.
Thx... Yes I'm familiar with the ACS. Somehow it doesn't appeal to me so much. I still like the UBR more looks-wise. But before I get that (cos it'll be my 2nd UBR if I do ;-)) I want to try Anarchy's CTR as it's light.
I want to check the overall balance with the front mounted Lipos. If I can use the CTR & it still feels even then maybe I'll stick to the CTR. OTOH if it feels front heavy then maybe I'll go for the UBR for better balance.

Yeah, I've actually been debating getting a CTR also, but I've already got enough weight in the front so I agree that trying to find a nice balance is important. I'd love a UBR, but man that ain't cheap, lol.
