I have mind on preorder right now. I also ordered a g18c with five ５０ round mags. This way I can sell my airsoft collection and keep something that is t as likely to e discovered and get me arrested.
Been tracking this baby for awhile, glad they're moving forward with it. Damn, need to find some money for this.

When it's open it has a stock, which means more accuracy, especially if you're running a full auto glock 18. It essential turns your pistol into kind of a smg/carbine. I think it looks kinda cool with a long clip.
Realistically for airsofters the concealment factor is probably not a big thing on the field, but in the real world something like this can be hidden in a netbook bag, purse, courier side bag, etc. It was made with professional security types in mind, for times when having a M4 of MP5 in plain view isn't the best idea.
Magpul's training wing has been making a lot of airsoft stuff lately, and I guess the figured why not toss this our way. Their 2010 catalog has a fully branded Remington ACR listed which I'm very interested in.
Impressive, I'd like to have one inside my bag if possible and show it sometimes when in trouble...

Is it useful in airsoft outside of being a glock with an extended barrel and stock? Not at all.
I'm buying one because it's unique, looks NOTHING like a gun when folded (huge plus when my car gets searched by the cops on base) and IMO looks great!
Once I get back to the states, if they make one of these, I'll be buying one FOR SURE. This is the perfect concealed carry item for a car!

Ooo, ok. I had no idea they even made fully-auto glocks, so it definitely makes sense with one of those. But still, disregarding the concealability (not that it isn't an important factor), there are other pistol stocks that are lighter and take up less space, right?
Pretty sure I've seen them in movies.
Then again, I've seen plenty of 14 inch dicks in movies too, and that hardly means they really exist.

The increase in size and weight is factored against the ability to easily convert a very popular pistol into a carbine/smg configuration. With the full body you can now mount lights, scopes and all kinds of other options. I don't think it's meant to replace a real carbine or SMG, but it allows a lot of those same advantages to be added, usually pretty quickly to.
There are at least 5 carbine conversion systems that I've seen for the glock alone that are either on the market now or coming soon. For private users, it's a way to get more use out of your gun. I'm sure there are a lot of glock owners who'd rather buy this than a whole new weapon system.
Those convertable systems are also great for people who want to be able to concealed carry but dont want to scare people who much open a glovebox or a purse and see a gun. I know its always a shock to me seeing a pistol like like, this might be a good alternative.
Again, for airsoft it's pretty much useless beyond being a glock with a stock.
