So I'm in Hong Kong for a quick trip, and I'm thinking of buying parts to build a new gun (don't want to go through the hassle of bring a full gun through customs). I try to avoid assembling complicated mechanisms because A) I'm not great at it and B) I always end up injured somehow. So I was wondering if I bought the parts how much would it cost a place like Echigoya to assemble it for me, or is that even an option?
I recently had someone assemble a gun for me and he was very good and he guarantees his work.
he runs a local shop in Saitama and charged me 4800 yen to build and wire the gun. The mech box was already completed though.

I can help you out if you don't speak Japanese.
Anarchy & I go to Airborne in Shinjuku regularly for custom work. However they are not that cheap (sorry, won't know a quote price) but they do excellent work.
If that's how much an assembly goes it'll be enough to make a living out of, provided you don't have competition.
Big Grin...I dont' think so....I think the market's somewhat limited. Most ppl would probably do it themselves. And if you were to subcontract your services out to shops like Airborne/Echigoya, etc, I think they'll pay you less.
