Unlike many forums out there the majority of us are not strangers. We know each other and I understand the admin desire to make sure things are kept civil. However, I would ask that there be a discussion between the administrators about a grievance system for people that purchase bad weapons through this site.

Obviously, it is best if the person that made the purchase discuss the problem directly with the person who sold the weapon. But, when that process doesn't resolve the issue, there needs to be another step. Of course we can't have TKO admin arbitrating, that isn't what I'm suggesting. What I am suggesting is a system where buyers can contact admin if they have complaints that can't be resolved directly with the seller. If, for example, 2 people complain about a specific seller then TKO admin should ban that person from selling weapons and gear on this site.

We all want to trust each other and I think that the instances of purchasing bad weapons is probably more to do with lack of care from the seller rather than anything malicious. But there needs to be a system in place where we can say to this person, collectively, "You need to make sure that what you are selling is not crap".

This will be a topic to be discussed tonight by TKOSOC. Note I'm not ashamed to say I've been the one recommending "victims" to approach the seller personally to resolve this privately. However no one has come back to me of the success/failure of that action.

Well... actually, I saw some similiarities from this forum to what is called "gentleman society". One of the most prominent example of gentleman society is 19th century Southern American States. Everybody knows each other(everybody knows everybody here rite?), everybody is somewhat pro-military, everybody is armed (with fake guns). and so...in this "gentleman society", honesty and gentlemanly behavior is taken very seriously. and if something happened, problems will be solved in a "gentlemanly" way in order to keep the society running smoothly. I just hope that this kind of problem did not plague TKOverkill society.

In conclusion, this is just a simple food for thought towards societal behavior. no spam or flame intended

After the TKOSOC meeting last night, we agreed that we'll implement a "Transaction Rating System" in this forum where buy buyers/sellers can rate how the transaction went. I'll look into some MyBB plug-in systems that dStole has recommended.

Q, sounds like a good system. Sorry if I insinuated that you or other admin, turned a blind eye to dodgy sales. I removed that part of the post after re-reading it as it wasn't the point I was trying to make.
Could I suggest that with the new system a person has the ability to have a negative rank removed if they and the buyer both contact admin to say that the issue has been resolved.
