No I don't take down my mags or soaking my o-rings. I do leave them partially filled though. But with regular silicone based on the quantity/frequency as per AI instructions, I find I don't need to do the takedown anyway.

As for less than accurate GBBs, of course I'm not cool with that but at the same time I don't have that problem anyway.

Either way, propane with a few drops of silicon is not the end of the world, green gas has SO much more silicon in it than you need which causes the problems I listed above. I dont think you guys are going to have issues unless you're putting more than a few drops in per magazine charge every time.

The bottom line is if you can get propane, the propane adapters are an amazing deal and a great way to save cash. Especially here where you only have access to weak duster gas that barely gets a while magazine off =(
