Serious. This must not be allowed. In early days, it often occured like this.
I've been seen those injury, worst one is teeth break, or BB creep into the skin.
It depends on it's power. That gun was , Muzzle verocity 140ms, with 0.43BB. They are outlaw. We hate them.
Until 1.2 to 1.5 max jules will be slightly safe, with policarbonate eyewear & facemask. No problem. 1jule may including safety clearances.
Over1.7to2.0jules are dengerous , over2.5jules are quite dengerous. Early days before A.E.G. , weapon's powersource was pressured air tank, It could power-up easily , so bad.
And it was terrible thrilling.
But, similar case will happen when you are at less than about 3m Distance from one's muzzle thus it's under 1jule. So the organizer saying loudly that body shot rather than head shot, especially close encounter.
If a guy lose his sight, and parents would call police the other day, when it cause end of airsoft-gun. It's up to us, guys. Let's think about it seriously.

Calling this "Project Rain Gun" as it's designed to be brought out during rainy season, so I don't have to worry about wrapping my AEGs in sandwich wrap. Also, just wanted to screw around with a GBBR:

Nice Donperi! Welcome to the Recce club! Did you redo the wiring, or do you have a lipo solution in the stock?

Cool, if you front wire it, tell me how it goes. I tried to remove the DD rail on my RECCE, but can't seem to get it off even with all 6 screws removed. Drop me a PM if you figure it out!

Drifter: that's weird. If it is an exact clone of the DD lite rail, to remove the screws is all you'd have to do. Really strange. Did you check so that the gas block doesn't hinder the removal?

Yep removed the gas block and everything. I think there might be a hidden screw, or maybe some loctite hidden somewhere. Here are some pics with the screws off, maybe someone can ID what my problem is.

Also took pics around the hand guard, can't see where the obstruction is:

I've removed the gas block before also, and pulled out the gas tube, but the rail still didn't move.
