Received it! Magpul PTS sent me the same ACR with a swapped upper receiver and barrel assembly, but at least it seems to be working. The barrel holds very firm without needing to apply much force at all to the lever, a HUGE improvement on my previous one.
I don't like the idea that they basically went ahead and tinkered with a brand new defective gun instead of just replacing it, even though I especially asked not to, but whatever, I'm done with eHobby Asia, and will think twice before spending 500$ in an Airsoft gun next time, even if it's Magpul.

Getting close. If they can put the enhanced front on it I'll probably cave and get it.

Ah, it hurts me just to give them traffic now, but whatever, I already have one ACR and I prefer the fixed stock anyway

Well Magpul and Magpul Dynamics have clean hands, since the manufacturing was taken over by Bushmaster and Remington when they signed over the design to them. On the Airsoft side, Magpul PTS has to take the blame, but again, they are separate from Magpul and Magpul Dynamics, although they do communicate more.

You don't know, might be a design flaw which made the firing problem on the real ACR as far as we know...
But anyway, it's good that they come through on this.
