Hey everybody
I just enrolled in college a few days ago and found out there are TONS of stuff to do in college( "circles", clubs, classes ,GF, etc). The most important thing is obviously my studies. And so, I was wondering if any of seniors here could offer advice about what class I should take during general studies (1st-2nd year) in college
thanks in advance

take one with the most girls, that's mandatory
for one reason or another, I was assigned to take French class. Therefore, I humbly ask any Frenchmen here for assistance in learning French

. よろしくお願い致します。
Thanks in advance

Haha, yeah right, good luck with one of the most, yet interesting and popular, language :>
I might have suggested advanced CQB training, gunsmithing, and "camo tecniques in a digital age".
Sorry to hear about the French...I hated French class growing up in Canada. After 7 years of it all through school I can hardly remember anything except the frustration I had learning it. Oh, and that words have gender. To hear others speak it French sounds beautiful and poetic, but learning it...aaargh.
Sorry Ycare and Tifast

Oh no, you're right, I'm happy I was born French, or else I would have never learned the language, waaayyy too difficult.
Every noun you can think of, every single little object, anything, they all have a gender, which you can't even try to guess, you have to learn.
Having said that, it's a very precise and beautiful language, there is a reason why it has been the official international language for maybe a millennium and is still in use in everyone's passport and many countries.

Yeah, I kick myself in the ass everyday now for having slept in French class, lol. I really wish I had knuckled down and learned it when I was younger, but what can you do. I'm just you're atypical Canuck, never taking advantage of my countries second official language.
Stick with it though buddy! Ycare is right, it's a very nice language and has a lot of utility.
errr.... sorry to interrupt the "lively" discussion, but for one reason or another (again!), I'm not assigned French class anymore (See, I took the "wrong" class, I'm supposed to be assigned to Japanese). Anyhow, it's kinda fun learning French though... I just found out that a book is a guy (un libre) and a flower is a girl (une fleur), and it's Monsieur Adi now, not Mr Adi or Adi-San anymore
