Thanks for the feedback Ycare. I know you don't "make the rules," but as a valued member of the TKO community, your feedback is always appreciated.
The advantage of the "modifier cards" is meant to try and keep things even. Only a team that lost the last round can use a game modifier, so hopefully this advantage will help them win the next round. This will hopefully keep the day close, and prevent a blow out, which can make things less fun after 3 or 4 hours of constant losses. "Full Auto" modifier, like all the other modifiers, can have a huge advantage when played with a strategy in mind.
If people decide not to use Mo Ammo, that is fine, but I would like to leave it in there as it might be an advantage for a guy like Rooboy who only has 2 regular magazines, and having his loader could make the difference between getting a win in the final minutes of a game or having to go back and reload. It may turn out worthless, but I would like to try it.
I am sorry to hear your guns have semi-auto issues. I could always sell you back your G36C...it seems fine on semi-auto
Seriously though, I don't want to have game rules that cause players to have less fun because their gear isn't working properly...but the idea of having full auto all day...hmmn. It changes the feel of the game, but I want everyone to play and have fun.
Perhaps the modifier can be a "semi-auto" card. A team can force the other team to play semi-auto. At least you would only have issues for that one game rather than the whole day. Perhaps a "Lo Ammo" could also be used to force less mag carry for a game, but we would have to make sure that players have at least one or two regular mags to make this happen. If a player only has hi-caps then it wouldn't work.
I am trying to find a rule set that makes the day more than just the regular games and takes into account that we are a small group of experienced players. I really like the semi-auto aspect because it forces good positions, smart shots, and better control.
I will leave it open for discussion and let the players decide.

Mainly semi-auto games with full auto modifier?
or
mainly full auto games with a semi-auto modifier?
