Tesla - don't forget, West Exit is where you and Ginga met me when we went to Area 51. It doesn't mean "meet at the pub at 7am" like you did last time we drove.

Hey Folks,
Thanks for the day. The weather held for us right to the end, and we managed to have some fun games, even with the low numbers. We tried a different style of game play, but it was a bit hard with the 4 on 4 (3). I would like to try this again some time with bigger numbes, maybe in the fall.
Funniest moment of the day...
GingaNinga (Alpha) to Ycare (Bravo)
GingaNinga: What's the score?
Ycare: F@$k You!

Bad ass moment of the day...
Tied between:
- Rooboy and ThunderMidget sneaking in behind Ycare and TeslaCorp. They are on their radios. Think COD Co-Op mode. "You take the one on the left. On 3,2,1." Two hits!
- Rooboy, solo, full auto, MASADA sniper rifle VS. Five members with handguns. Rooboy for the win.
Saddest moment...
Q going to check his hop on gun 1, only to discover a broken piston. Using gun 2, only to have it strip it's gears. Gun 3 being a gas blowback that has never been skirmished and needing an hour or so to get ready. Was glad to have him back in. Been a rough few months for you Q. Might be worth looking into the hi-speed, hi-torque motors on Li-Po with low power springs. With the luck you have been having, there is something weird going on there.
A Big welcome also to ChickenHawk who is new to the forum, but turns out isn't new to TKO
On a side note:
I am going to take a break from organizing games for a while. I try to put alot of thought and energy into coming up with new game scenarios, game types, rules, modifiers, etc, and the lack of participation recently has been somewhat frustrating. I spent about 8-10 hours photoshopping, printing, laminating, and prepping props for this game. It's a bummer when we don't get the numbers to support the games. I hope it is just the summer, and people just having conflicting schedules, and that we will see an increase in participation again once it starts to cool down again.
I am going to take some time and put together some ideas for a game in October. Until then I look forward to playing in Psycho's, Anarchy's, and Q's games.
Thanks again for today guys! Very tactical and enjoyable games.
How many times you get git in the face Ycare? 5 or 6?

Funniest moment of the day...
Getting shot in the face (on the skin) while wearing mask and glasses, how the hell did Ginga land this one?!
Saddest moment...
Seeing my face in the mirror once back home.
Bad ass moment of the day...
Landing 4 kills in the first handgun game, booyaka!
Sad to hear about you taking a break Ginga, even with low number, the games and modifiers idea was pretty neat, would have been awesome in larger game. Thanks a lot for yesterday anyway!
PS: stopped counting once I stopped feeling them hitting my face.

despite the low numbers this was one of the best games I have had. Great bunch of guys, great organization, nice field and I got to shoot ycare a lot! What more can you ask for?
28-06-2010, 04:57 PM
Yah, I had an awesome time too. Small numbers but great games and a good group of guys. Thanks everyone.

That was a lot fun. I haven't had much experience with playing airsoft games out here in Japan, but I really enjoyed the numbers. It brought back some memories of running exercises and drills in the military. It was a great experience meeting all of you and I look forward to doing it again in the next game. Thanks.
