Yesterday Dstole, KiwiGlen and I went to the public game at Desert Storm Kawagoe. There were about 50 people there (including a family with two kids, both about ten years old, who played as well!). I'm happy to say the day went well with no serious zombie issues or hot gun problems. The staff at DSK stickered each weapon after chronoing and checked every weapon as we entered the field for each game. A bit of a rough team split (serious dudes with mad kit on one side, noobs and children on the other side) meant we lost just about every game, but it was still a good day, and Dstole, KiwiGlen and I managed to rack up some nice kill counts.
I know I have been reluctant to go to public games as I have heard some stories about problems and frustration at these games. I'm happy to say this was not the case yesterday thanks to the good players there and the good management by the DSK staff.
