Tokyo Marui has a new teaser up on their site announcing some upcoming releases that will be showed at the Shizuoka Hobby Show.

It looks like a they have a...
- High Cycle M4
- A new 1911 style pistol
- A new glock
- An M4 with a DD style front rail. It almost looks like a GBB
- A Walther style pistol.

The high cycle M4 is no surprise after they released their 3000 motor and the high cycle MP5 series.

I wonder if the 1911 is just a Kimber style GBB. Maybe a variation of their desert warrior but in all black? Or maybe a new electric pistol?

The Glock looks like it has a semi and auto switch...I wonder if it will be a full auto gas pistol?

The M4 DD looks cool, but there must be a reason they are showing the bolt in the teaser. Another Electric blowback, or are they entering the GBB rifle market?

No real thoughts on the Walther style pistol...the dot on it makes it look like a Walther PPK...but the WAFFER on the handguard makes me wonder if it isn't a cheaper item, or even a new GinDan series?

Should be interesting to see what is announced at the hobby show.
Anyone knows what GingaNinga has already in his collection? I feel like there will be some second hand AEG on sales Tongue
Indeed..... I start to regret buying my AK when he offers his costum M4 T_T Tongue
Hmm, I really hope they develop a full blown blowback electric pistol. The EBB's they have now are just for messing around, and don't shoot particularly fast. Space for the motor and battery is the issue I guess, but I'd pay good money for EBB with some power.
So pretty much not a damn thing from TM, as usual.

They're just re releasing the same crap, and for some reason they get away with it. I dont think I'll ever buy a TM gun again, not worth the price for crap plastic externals.
Wraith,
Handguns are plastic by law. I don't think it's fair to blame TM for government restrictions.

Their last few guns have had more metal parts, starting with the Type 89...I think it was the first TM to be a diecast receiver.
The EBB M4 Sopmods are complete aluminum diecast with the exception of the grip and stock.

I am sure you will disagree, but TM are the best working, best quality guns (for the price) out of the box for the Japanese market. Hands down. Buy one and it will last you years. TM are great about fixing them for you, and they support their products with quality support, R&D and development. They don't seem to introduce anything to earth shattering, seeming to be happy to stay in the realm of Armalites, AK, and H&K...but I love the M4 platform, so I don't mind Smile I am pretty sure the study the Japanese market to try and get an idea of what will sell, and that is what they release. Again, not fair to blame them if they are simply putting out products that the Japanese consumer wants. From what I understand, TM isn't real interested in any market other than Japan, so I have no problem with them basing their business on that market.

Once you open up a TM, or start using them beyond what they were meant for (propane, stronger springs, etc), then milage may vary.

I really believe that if Japanese government restrictions were lifted we would see much more powerful guns with more metal parts, but TM (or any Japanese maker) shouldn't be called "crap" because of those restrictions.

My 2 yen's worth anyway Smile
Looks like TM is coming out with a new line of Bio BBs and will be including a .28 bio round for snipers.
